Cosmos by Leartes: UI/UX for a Game Asset Marketplace and the Rocket App Site

Cosmos is Leartes Studios' marketplace of game-ready environments, 3D assets, materials, sounds and visual effects (VFX), and Rocket is its desktop app that drops those assets straight into a game engine. We designed the Cosmos store interface and the Rocket product site.

The challenge

Thousands of assets, one dark canvas

Game artists browse by look: an environment, a prop, a material. The store had to let the artwork lead, keep prices and bundles visible, and make the step from browsing to using an asset in an engine feel short.

Our approach

A store built around the artwork

A fixed side menu groups the catalogue into environments, 3D assets, materials, sounds, VFX, tools and tutorials, with free items, collections and bundles at the top. The home opens on an edge-to-edge bundle banner. Below it come rows of new environments and new and trending assets on large dark cards with price, discount and favourite states.

A product site for Rocket

The Rocket pages explain the desktop app in three ideas (drag-and-drop imports, more time for creative work, environments to sounds in one click) with real interface crops, then end on a download section that names the supported engines, Unreal Engine and Unity.
