Many organisers. One place to book. Events and stays, built and run by us.

Organisers list their own events and stays, guests book by date in one checkout, and everyone gets paid their share. Built and run every day, as we do for Outdoora.

What walks in

What usually happens when other organisers want in, and what we change first

“Organisers email their events for you to list.”

Organisers sign up and add their own events and stays, and you approve them before they go live.

“Payouts are worked out in a spreadsheet.”

Each booking records the organiser’s share and your commission, and payouts follow your schedule.

“Guests cannot tell which nights are free.”

Date-range booking per listing, checked against what is free.

“Reviews and questions land in your inbox.”

Guests review and ask the organiser directly, with moderation where you need it.

“You want an app, but the site is not ready.”

The marketplace is built so an app can run on the same data later.

What you get

Six things the marketplace does, built and run by the same engineers

01

Organiser sign-up and dashboards

Organisers sign up, add their events and stays, and see their own bookings, guests and payouts in one dashboard.

02

Events and stays with real dates

Tickets with capacity and nights booked by date range, checked against what is free for each listing.

03

Turkish payments and payouts

Card payment in one checkout, with each organiser’s share and your commission worked out per booking.

04

Reviews and moderation

Guests review what they booked, organisers reply, and you approve listings before they go live.

05

An app when you are ready

A mobile app on the same marketplace: a map of places, event pages with an essentials list, profiles and group chats.

06

Run by us, every day

Updates tested on a copy first, monitoring, backups and the day-to-day problems a live marketplace has, handled by the engineers who built it.

Who it is for

For operators other organisers want to sell through

A good fit

Organisers already ask to list with you.

You have an audience other organisers want to reach, and listing them by hand no longer scales.

  • Several organisers or stay owners already want to sell through you.
  • You want them to manage their own listings and get paid automatically.
  • You want a team that builds the marketplace and runs it every day.
Camps · Retreats · Tours · Festivals · Glamping · Stays

Not a fit yet

Only your own events?

A marketplace adds work you do not need yet.

See Ticket & Booking Sales.

No organisers asking yet?

A marketplace without sellers is an empty shop.

Start with your own events, then open it up.

How a marketplace gets built

The rules first, then the first organisers

  1. Step 01

    Agree the rules

Who can list, what you approve, how commission and payouts work and what happens when a date is cancelled, written down first.

  2. Step 02

    Build the marketplace

Organiser sign-up, listings, booking, payment and payouts, on a test copy you and your first organisers can try.

  3. Step 03

    Bring the first organisers in

Your first organisers list their events and stays, and we fix what they run into before you open to everyone.

  4. Step 04

    Run it every day

Monitoring, updates, backups and new features as the marketplace grows, with the same engineers.

FAQ

Questions operators ask before opening a marketplace

No. Most marketplaces start with listings, booking and payouts, and add reviews, an app and more tools for organisers once real organisers use it.
Each booking records the organiser’s share and your commission. Payouts follow the schedule you set, and organisers see them in their dashboard.
Outdoora runs on WooCommerce with Dokan, which suits most marketplaces of this kind. When the rules outgrow it, we build on Laravel instead.
We do. We run Outdoora day to day, problems included, and we run yours the same way on a monthly plan.
Yes, on the same marketplace. We designed Outdoora’s app and built the iOS app for The Status Network on its own API.
