BiKoleksiyon: A Photo-Based Offer Site for Collectibles Buyers
Website build for BiKoleksiyon, a Turkish buyer of old coins, medals, stamps, records, books, paintings and antiques. A WordPress site on the Listeo directory theme where sellers pick a category, upload photos of their items and request a price from the buying team.
The challenge
Buying, not selling
BiKoleksiyon buys collections from the public: Ottoman and Republic-era coins and banknotes, medals, stamps and covers, records, old books and documents, paintings, calligraphy and antique objects. The site's job is the opposite of a shop. It has to get people who own something old to send it in for a valuation.
An item is hard to price from a text message
The buying team needs to see the item before quoting. Enquiries that arrive as a line of text lead to a back-and-forth for photos. The site had to collect contact details, the item category and photos in one step.
Many item types, one team
Sellers think in specific terms (an Ottoman copper coin, a 45 rpm record, a postcard), not in broad categories. Each type needed its own page that explains what the team buys and leads to the same offer flow.
Our approach
A directory theme used as a category structure
We built on WordPress with the Listeo directory theme, customised through a child theme, and page layouts in Elementor. Instead of third-party business listings, the theme's listing type holds BiKoleksiyon's own item types: six categories (coins and medals, antiques, paintings and calligraphy, books and documents, records, stamps and covers) with item-type pages underneath each.
Photo upload in the offer form
The main "Fiyat Al" (get a price) form is a Contact Form 7 form with name, phone, email, a category select (numismatics, ephemera, philately, antiques, art), a description field and an image upload limited to JPG and PNG. Item-type pages carry their own upload form, so a seller can request an offer from the page they landed on.
Three steps on the homepage
The homepage explains the flow in three steps (pick a category, fill in the form with photos, get a valuation), then lists the categories and answers common questions: what BiKoleksiyon buys, how pricing works and what counts as an antique.
Direct contact and content
A floating WhatsApp chat button, the phone number and an email address sit on every page, alongside a contact form. A blog of collecting guides (coins, medals, stamps, records, painters) supports search, and Yoast SEO provides the XML sitemaps and Organization, WebSite and breadcrumb schema.

Results
One offer flow for every item type
Every category and item-type page leads to a form that collects photos and contact details, so the buying team receives enough to make a first valuation without asking for pictures later.
A structure that grows with new item types
New item types are added as listing entries in the admin, under an existing category, without new templates. The listing sitemap currently has 37 item-type pages across the six categories.
Search-ready content
The site has category pages, item-type pages and collecting guides, all in the XML sitemaps with titles and meta descriptions set through Yoast.
