Oksijen Events: A Portfolio-Led WordPress Site for an Event Agency
Oksijen Events runs brand launches, dealer meetings, festivals and activations for companies like Hepsiburada, Borusan and Şişecam. We designed and built their Turkish-language WordPress site around a video showreel, an awards timeline and a structured portfolio of event case pages.
The challenge
An agency whose work lives in photos and video
Oksijen Events is an Istanbul agency that plans and runs corporate events: product launches, dealer and sales team meetings, festivals and guerrilla activations for brands such as Hepsiburada, Borusan, Eti, Decathlon and Şişecam-Paşabahçe. What sells that work is the footage and the client list, so the website had to put both in front of visitors quickly.
Content the team could keep adding to
New events happen all the time. The agency needed a site where staff could publish a new project with its gallery, and update client logos and awards, without asking a developer to build a page each time.
Corporate buyers expect compliance
The buyers are procurement and marketing teams at large Turkish companies, and they expect a supplier to publish proper KVKK (Turkish data protection law) notices, cookie consent and a clear way to get in touch.
Our approach
A showreel-first homepage
The homepage opens with a self-hosted, autoplaying showreel video behind the headline, followed by a horizontal awards timeline (Ace of MICE, Stevie Awards and category wins from 2019 to 2025), a portfolio grid of recent events and a three-step explanation of how the agency works: concept, storytelling and delivery.
A portfolio built on custom post types
Each event is its own entry in a custom post type with a category, published at /projelerimiz/{slug}/. Every entry has an image gallery with lightbox viewing. The same entries feed the homepage grid and the main Projects page, which uses a showcase layout plus a gallery, so adding one project updates the site in all three places.
A theme the client can edit
We built on the Bili theme, using a child theme so our changes survive theme updates, and on Elementor. That let us pull in the theme's portfolio, timeline, gallery and info-box widgets, and it lets the Oksijen team edit pages visually. Headers and footers are separate reusable templates, so the contact CTA, address and social links stay the same on every page.
Compliance and contact built in
A Contact Form 7 inquiry form sits beside the full address, phone numbers and email. A cookie consent banner and a footer legal block link to the KVKK policy, the data-subject application form and the customer, cookie and camera privacy notices, plus the privacy policy.

Results
A living portfolio
The site is live with 9 event case pages covering launches, dealer meetings, festivals and campaign activations, a references page with more than 40 client logos, and an awards timeline. All of it can be edited from the WordPress admin.
A credible front door for corporate buyers
Before a procurement or marketing team makes contact, they can see the agency's work, its clients, its awards and its KVKK documents, then send an inquiry through the contact form or use the direct phone and email details shown on every page.
Room to grow
Because projects are structured content instead of one-off pages, the portfolio can grow, get filtered by category, or be reused in other layouts without being rebuilt.
