Elif Akan Çelik: A Bilingual Website for a London-Based Clinical Psychologist

The challenge

Trust comes before the first session

Someone looking for a therapist wants to know who they will talk to, how she works and whether the setting feels safe. The site had to answer that calmly, with the therapist's training and approach up front.

Two audiences, two languages

The practice serves Turkish-speaking clients in the UK and elsewhere, so the site needed a full Turkish version and an English one, written from the client's own English page texts.

Our approach

Service pages that explain the therapy

We built five service pages (individual adolescent therapy, individual adult therapy, family and couple therapy, online and face-to-face therapy, psychological tests and assessments), each with its own large header image and a side menu that links to the others.

Booking always one tap away

An Online Appointment button sits in the header, a WhatsApp button floats on every page, and the contact page uses a Contact Form 7 form.

Turkish and English with Polylang

The site is built with Flatsome and Elementor. Polylang (a translation plugin) runs the Turkish and English versions, with a language switch in the header.

What is running today

One site for both languages

The Turkish and English versions share one WordPress setup and one set of page templates, so the two stay in line with each other.

Room to grow

Publications, client reviews and a self-reflection quiz page sit alongside the services, so the therapist can add articles without a developer.
