Bioden Gübre: A Bilingual Fertilizer Catalog on WordPress
Bioden Gübre makes organomineral fertilizer from the compost left over by a biogas power plant in Afyonkarahisar, part of the Metgün Group. We built its Turkish and English WordPress site around a structured product catalog with guaranteed-content tables and downloadable registration documents.
The challenge
A technical product sold to farmers and dealers
Bioden Gübre is the fertilizer brand of Bioden Enerji, a Metgün Group company that runs a biomass power plant in Başmakçı, Afyonkarahisar. The compost left over from biogas production is turned into solid organomineral fertilizers. Every product is defined by a nutrient formula such as 12-12-12+(12SO₃)+ME, and buyers compare products on those numbers.
Specs, certificates and two audiences
Each product has a guaranteed-content analysis and an official registration document that buyers want to check. The company also wanted to explain the plant, its laboratory and its agricultural policies, in Turkish for the home market and in English for partners abroad.
Our approach
WooCommerce as a structured catalog
Instead of hand-built product pages, each fertilizer is a WooCommerce product in one of three categories (NP, NPK and nitrogen). The guaranteed-content values, from organic matter and total nitrogen to pH and moisture, sit in a consistent table on every product page, and related products are listed automatically. The same entries feed the homepage product carousel and the category pages.
Documents where buyers look for them
Product pages link to the product's registration certificate as a PDF, and a downloadable e-catalog appears in the footer of every page.
Theme and page builder
We built on the Solatec theme with a child theme and Elementor, so the team can edit the corporate pages themselves: About, Organomineral Fertilizer, Agricultural Policies, Climate Change and Agriculture, and the R&D laboratory.
Two languages and KVKK compliance
Polylang runs the Turkish and English versions with hreflang tags. The contact page pairs a Contact Form 7 form, with a message-type selector and a required privacy-notice checkbox, with the factory address and a map. The footer links the KVKK data processing, cookie and data-subject application documents.

Results
One catalog for every formula
The site is live with 13 products in three categories, each with the same spec table, so a dealer can compare formulas side by side. The registration certificate is one click from the product page.
The company story in two languages
The Turkish and English homepages explain the chain from biogas plant to compost to fertilizer, and link to the lab, the agricultural policy pages and the plant's energy projects.
Content the team can extend
New formulas are added as products in the WordPress admin and appear in the catalog, the category pages and the homepage carousel without any page building.
