ANCQA.EI9: A WooCommerce Store for an Istanbul Menswear Label
We built the original online store for ANCQA.EI9, a menswear label that opened its first store in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, in 2019. A WordPress and WooCommerce shop with five collections, size and colour swatches, a designer's blog and the legal pages Turkish online sales require. The brand has since moved to a different platform; this case study describes the store as it was saved in a web archive in December 2021.

The challenge
A label told through collections
ANCQA.EI9 designs its menswear in themed collections, each with its own story. The store had to sell individual pieces while keeping the collections, and the designer behind them, at the front.
Clothing needs variants
Every coat, jacket and pair of trousers comes in several sizes and colours, so product pages had to make the right variant easy to pick and show when something is out of stock.
Selling online in Türkiye
An online store in Türkiye needs a distance sales contract, a preliminary information form, a KVKK notice (under Türkiye's data protection law), a cookie policy and clear delivery and return terms before it can take orders.
Our approach
WooCommerce on a fashion theme
We built the store on WordPress and WooCommerce with the Shop Isle Pro theme and WPBakery Page Builder. The homepage opens with a Slider Revolution banner for the current season and leads into best sellers, collections and the designer's picks.
Collections as product categories
Each of the five collections is a WooCommerce product category with its own page and story, listed under Koleksiyonlar in the main menu. Clickable swatches show sizes and colours on the product page, and a discount rules plugin runs campaign discounts.
Brand content next to the shop
A blog written by the designer, a "Ne Giydiğini Bil" page about fabric testing, and an about page sit next to the shop. The footer links to all the policy pages and an Instagram section points to the brand's account.
